Karina Rumans’ Professional Background
Karina graduated with honors from Texas Wesleyan University with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and was president of the Professional Organization for Advancing Counselors. She is currently enrolled in Texas Wesleyan’s Marriage & Family Therapy PhD program.
Karina has experience working in diverse community settings, including a community counseling center. Through her work, she has gained valuable expertise in serving clients from a wide range of socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and educational backgrounds. Her experience has equipped her to provide culturally sensitive and comprehensive support to clients with diverse life experiences and challenges.
Prior to entering the counseling field, Karina’s professional experience was in the business and insurance field. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in management.
